Palazzo Castiglioni

Milan, Italy

Palazzo Castiglioni and Palazzo Bovara in Corso Venezia street, Milan, represent important examples of the Milanese Liberty Era. The new illumination meant the visual renovation of two city simbols.

Palazzo Castiglioni together with Palazzo Bovara in Corso Venezia street, Milan, are two buildings accomodate offices and conference rooms.

However, they both represent important examples of the Milanese Liberty Era and considering their location, their new illumination meant the visual renovation of two city symbols.
The lighting scheme aimed at creating a discrete illumination of the important architectural elements turning them into the only visual accents. For this reason, the windows of Palazzo Castiglioni combining a sense of order and delicate stone ornaments became the absolute visual protagonists.
The main Entrance is illuminated by a Ceiling surface mounted Omikron Pro Flood projector. Due to its high performance, high CRI and wide range of optics, Omikron Pro can be an extremely versatile lighting solution.
The inner yard of Palazzo Bovara got lit by a Lit wall mounted projector for providing functional illumination.
Emi lighting fixtures were installed on the Palazzo Castiglioni window frames, providing a soft but decisive accent on the stone ornaments. Due to the fixture’s minimal dimensions, Emi stays completely hidden, turning the light effect almost magical.
